When Chef Bo Kline recently opened Typhoon! in Bend she already knew her world class Thai cuisine was relished in six carefully chosen locations throughout the Northwest. The newest Typhoon! is in the luxurious and newly remodeled Franklin Crossing Building in downtown Bend.  With wide acclaim in national magazine reviews the restaurants have found a loyal following by offering Mrs. Kline’s unique balance of salty, sweet and sour — and yes, even bitter tastes. She has a particularly deft hand with shrimp and fish, allowing the seafood’s delicate flavors to surmount ginger, garlic, basil, and some spices guests would only experience in her native Thailand.
